I’m lucky that they love their school and are looking forward to going back to school to meet old and new friends. Do your kids enjoy going back to school or is a it a struggle?

I have some good resources here to help you with the back to school transition. I know that it can be stressful to have to buy new books, clothes, shoes, supplies, etc, so I want to help you as much as possible with some back to school savings tips.

You can find all Back to School Deals that I’m posting here. There are new deals every day, so check back often to find them. You can also find them under the “Best Deals” tab (first tab under header).

And here are some articles that can help you save even more this school year.

Back to School Savings Tips

Save on Clothes:

I have a lot of good tips in the How to Find Back to School Clothes for Less article. My biggest tip is to set a budget before shopping and know how much you can spend.

If your kids wear uniforms, then you know they can be pricey. Don’t worry, I have Tips to Save on School Uniforms, too. This is the 4th year of uniforms in my household and I feel like I have it down by now.

Save Time:

The biggest time saver is to plan ahead. Make your mornings fun smoother by making lunches the night, or weekend, ahead. Pre-cut veggies, pre-make sandwiches, and have all other ingredients ready to go. I also lay my kids clothes out for them the night before so they can get dressed first thing in the morning.

Check the How to Set a Back to School Routine post for a smooth start to the school year. And once your kids get back into the routine, if they need a little extra help in some subjects, don’t forget about the Free Online Tutors available.

Save on Supplies:

The Dollar Store has many supplies that can help you save. Check  the 7 Dollar Store Back to School Essentials post before you head out shopping.

Frugal & Healthy Back to School Recipe Ideas:

Here are 10 Back to School Lunches You Can Make in 10 Minutes or Less, which I know you will appreciate on those busy afternoons or mornings. I have some more recipes that I think you will enjoy, too, because they are homemade versions of many of the processed foods kids love. Making them healthier will give you more piece of mind since you will know exactly what your kids are eating.

And finally, keep your kids safe this school year, here are some Back to School Safety Tips Every Child Should Know.

I hope this helps! Here’s to a productive and fun school year!
