Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate

What is better on a cold winter’s day that a steaming hot cup of hot chocolate? This Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate takes a bit longer than the instant variety, but it is well worth the wait! Just plan ahead to make this and you won’t regret it. You may already have all the ingredients in your cupboard right now so you can warm up your family today!

Here’s how you can make this Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate:


  • 2 cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 6 cup Milk
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • Pinch of Salt

Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate Collage


  1. Add all ingredients to slow cooker and stir until well mixed and chips are spread around the bottom.
  2. Cook on low setting for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve topped with whipped cream or marshmallows.

And that is it! We enjoyed a batch of hot chocolate and Copycat Cracker Jacks while we were driving around looking at Christmas lights this season!
