Valentine Hearts Rice Krispies Treats

Valentine Hearts Rice Krispies TreatsValentine’s Day is coming up and these Valentine Hearts Rice Krispies Treats will be a sure hit for your littlest loved ones. They are super simple to make so the kids can help you make them and everyone will enjoy eating them!

These would be cute to give to neighbors, teachers or other friends too. That is, if you can keep you family away from eating them all!

Valentine Hearts Rice Krispies Treats

  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 10 oz Marshmallows
  • Red Food Coloring
  • 2 cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 cup Conversational Hearts
  • Heart Shape Cookie Cutter

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a medium to large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Stir in enough food coloring to make the marshmallows very pink.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add Rice Crispies cereal and mini marshmallows IMG_8415
  6. Stir until cereal is well combined.
  7. Prepare a cookie sheet with sides by spraying with cooking spray or coating with butter.
  8. Butter a spoon or your hands or use wax paper to press the mixture into the pan evenly.
  9. Press conversation hearts evenly around the mixture.
  10. After cooling, use heart shape cookie cutters to cut out treats.
