dollar tree logoDollar Tree has announced on their Facebook page that they will start accepting coupons on August 26. This may be regional, so I recommend you contact your local store to see if it is available by you. However, from the looks of – it sounds like this is a go everywhere!

Why is this so exciting? Well, everything in Dollar Tree is already a dollar and they carry many manufacturer products, so you can use your coupons to help you save even more! And since stores are reimbursed, and paid,  for coupons it makes perfect sense for them to start taking coupons to help their customers!

They have not posted an official coupon policy, so I will post that for you as soon as I get it – but I do have a few tips for you. Since this is a completely new policy for the store, there will be a learning curve for cashiers, management, and customers. Please be patient with the store as they get new to this policy. Show Dollar General how great the couponing community is and that we appreciate them making this decision.

I’m also going to love hearing about your finds at Dollar Tree – so please feel free to let me know what you find once this new policy goes into effect on August 26, 2012!
