SwitchAndGoDinosLOGOI have two boys, so when I heard that Vtech created a new toy that combined with dinosaurs and cars, I knew it would be a hit in my home! The new Switch & Go Dinos are 2 toys in one since the dinosaurs morph into vehicles and back again. Plus, each Switch & Go Dino has electronic elements, with a LCD screen and talking voice that add character to the toys, bringing them “to life.” SwitchAndGo SliverWhile in the dinosaur mode, kids can push buttons on the toy that give interesting facts about each dinosaur – with up to 30 expressions. My son’s favorite fact from the T-Rex Dino was “the name T-Rex means king of the lizards” – honestly my 6-year-old son played with these for hours when he got them. He really loved switching them back and forth between the dinosaurs and vehicles and listening to the fun expressions. The “morphing” isn’t too complicated either because my 4-year-old enjoyed changing them, too. His favorite part was the LCD screen that displayed dino eyes or a driver while in the car mode.

And of course, like other Vtech toys, I like that there is education value with these toys as well. If you have little one that love dinosaurs and cars like my kids do, then you’ll want to check these out. There are four Starter Dinos: Sliver the T-Rex, T-Don the Pteranodon, Tonn the Stegosaurus and Horns the Triceratops – you can find all four for $15.99 at Amazon or (starting June 18). You can Buy today on Amazon. All Switch & Go Dinos will be on-shelf at major retailers beginning in Fall 2012, including the four Starter Dinos, as well as Attila the Ankylosaurus (SRP: $24.99), Span the Spinosaurus (SRP: $29.99), Brok the Brachiosaurus (SRP: $49.99).

What do you think, would your kids enjoy this new toy too?
