I have to admit, my husband and I don’t go for a date night nearly as often as I would like (only once in the last 6 months!) I know – that isn’t great, but I think we may actually get out more soon since our “baby” turns 1 this month and it should be easier for sitters to watch all 3 kids. So, I’m already thinking of where I want to go – and what we should do.

I’m sure all you parents can agree, going to dinner, without the kids, is such a relaxing activity since you can actually eat without having to cut or blow on someone else’s food. Date night with dinner allows you and your husband to actually enjoy adult conversation and reconnect with each other. If you are planning a date night soon, you should check out Chili’s, which has a variety of menu items, including yummy appetizers, entrees, and tempting desserts.

Plus, since you know that I love a good deal – you can sign up for the Chili’s eClub and get a FREE chips & queso. You’ll also get emails on other promotions in the future. Another favorite is their $20 Dinner for Two – you can choose an appetizer to share and then get two full-size entrees for $20. My hubby loves their salsa, so we usually do the chips and salsa (although I really like their guacamole, too). A new favorite, I think will be the new CoronaRita at Chili’s, which is made with Jose Cuervo Especial Tequila and a Coronita**. If you are heading out for Cinco de Mayo this weekend, this is one that you will want to try! I’m thinking that the margarita grilled chicken would be a great entrée with this meal, too.

Plus, right now you can enter to win a $50 Chili’s gift card. What menu items look good to you at Chili’s? Do you plan to try the CoronaRita?

**Please remember, you must be 21 years or older to drink alcoholic beverages and as always, please to drink responsibly.
