For those of you in Arizona, we now have a new grocery store to shop at! WinCo Foods has opened two locations in Phoenix and Glendale. I have not had a chance to drive out to the new store yet, but I’m excited to check it out! I’ve heard great things from people in other states.

New WinCo Locations:

WinCo Foods #108
330 W Bell Road
Phoenix, AZ 85023
Open 24 hours, 7 days a week.

WinCo Foods #109
5850 W Bell Road
Glendale, AZ 85308
Open 24 hours, 7 days a week.

A few things I noticed right away by looking at their site is that they DO take coupons (yay!) and there is a coupon policy online.  Plus, for those near the store, it is nice that they are open 24 hours. And different from other grocery stores, or many stores in general, they do not take credit cards.

I’m looking forward to check out the store – but I would love to hear your feedback, too. Do you currently shop at WinCo? Have you been to the new locations? What are some of your favorite, or least favorite features?

Thanks for sharing! I agree, it would be nice to see double coupons, especially since Fry’s and Safeway have that – but I’ve heard the prices are good!

Went on the first day and got great deals too. DO NOT bring the kids the first time if you can help it. The store on 59th Ave is huge, it was a Costco, so it takes some getting used to. This week the Winco site has some GREAT store coupons, like $.99 Lays (limit 2) and you can stack their store coupons with mfg coupons (they have a coupon for Cottenelle that I stacked and saved big). There area few bloggers who Winco works with and they spread the word about deals, since Winco does not have a weekly Ad, but the deals in other states did NOT match up with our stores so don’t expect to match up from those sites. Finally, you have to bag your own groceries and they only take debit or check, not credit cards like you mentioned.
