Have you checked out the new Market Place? Do you have items lying around your house that you no longer need including but not limited to, clothes, kids toys, games or crafts that you may have been wanting to sell. With great intentions, we usually set these items to the side for a future garage sale but as time gets by during our busy lives it is hard to organize and dedicate a full day to a garage sale. So let the Market Place be your personal Community Garage sale reaching out to thousands of people nationwide.
We heard the feedback that many of you had items you want to sell, but that you wanted an easier, faster way to list your items. So we got together with smarketplaces, and now posting an item to our marketplace is as easy as taking a picture on your phone and emailing it to post@smarketplaces.com!
Here’s how the mobile feature works:
1. Take a picture using your mobile phone
2. Use your phone to email the picture to post@smarketplaces.com. Put the name of your item in the Subject: line and a short description of the item in the body of the email.
3. In a minute or two check your email, you will receive an email with a link. Press on the link, it will open a mobile window that let’s you finish your post. Enter your price, select a category from the dropdown accept the terms & conditions, then press the “post” button! (Note: If you don’t already have an account with Smarketplaces you will first be asked to create a username and password to associate with your email.)
You’re done! It may take a second to load, but you should see a post confirmation page.

On to the Giveaway, in celebration of summer nearing an end, we would like to organize a Community Garage Sale in our new marketplace! We’re hoping that you can skip the set-up of tables and arranging of items (and even worse, the tear-down and re-packing of items that don’t sell) by listing your items in our marketplace and selling to our online community.
