Can eCoupons Double or Be Stacked?

I love your coupon questions, so keep them coming. This question from reader Amy is regarding eCoupons:

“Can you stack ecoupons placed on your card with paper coupons? Do they double ecoupons?”

What Are eCoupons?

First, it is important to point out eCoupons are coupons that you load on your store card. The nice part is that you don’t have to print or cut them out. They will automatically come off at the register.

eCoupons are considered manufacturer coupons, so this means that you can stack them with store coupons, but you cannot combine them with other paper manufacturer coupons. Since the eCoupon comes off at the register, it will be applied first, and you won’t be able to use your paper coupon (as many of you have found).

Can They Double?

Even though they are manufacturer coupons, they won’t double. So, when you are loading coupons on  your card, you may want to check if you have other coupons that will double (and help you save more), or if the eCoupon is already worth more than $1, it probably doesn’t matter.

You can usually remove eCoupons from your card, depending on what service you are using, so if you do find a better paper coupon, just make sure you remove the eCoupon before heading to the store.

Please, Please, Please HELP! I would love to know more about ECOUPONS ~ however, it might be pointless. I live in Central Florida and don’t know of a store that has a card that would take coupons off of a card. My local stores are Publix, WinnDixie, WalMart, Walgreens, CVS, Dollar General, Family Dollar, & Save-A-Lot. Please let me know if I am missing out on something. Thanx so much!

Thanks for that information! I was wondering why sometimes I could use both an ecoupon and paper coupon and other times I couldn’t! This clears it up!!

Meijers mperks (ecoupons) are considered Meijer store coupons and can be stacked with manufacturer coupons. They just updated their coupon policy to show this last month.

Found this out the hard way at Kroger a few weeks ago. Had some ecoupons on my Kroger card then went to use better paper ones at the store and I couldn’t :(

Hi Andrea! Your best bet is to go to each of the eCoupon sites and put in your zip code to see if any of your stores are available. You can check savingstar.com, cellfire.com & shortcuts.com. You can also check on your local stores websites to see if they have eCoupons right on their sites, but I don’t believe Publix or WinnDixie do. Good luck!
