Fry’s Clearance Find: Cheap Organic Cheese

I made a quick stop at Fry’s last night and found this Organic Valley Cheese for $1.50 marked down from $4.99! I’m not sure why it was marked down as it doesn’t expire until July 26, but I was happy! I realize that clearance items vary by store, but if you’re planning a trip to Fry’s, you may want to check and see if they have cheap organic cheese too.

    Anything that will be expiring soon is marked down. I always like finding good stuff on clearance and just making sure I use it soon or right away depending on the date. Love it even more when I have a coupon for a marked down product.

    I went to Fry’s a couple weeks ago and found a couple cases of the big tubs of Gerber Good Start Gentle formula for$5.99/container. I was SO excited! My baby is breastfed but we have to go to formula when she’s 9 months so I stocked up. LOVE it when I find stuff like that!

    I totally agree, Nikkie! This cheese doesn’t expire for 2 weeks, though, that’s why I was so surprised that it was on clearance. Overstock maybe?

    @ Stephanie why are you stocking up on formula when you are breastfeeding? Just a thought are you going back to work then? Does your breastmilk have and expiration date on it? You could still breastfeed when you are with you baby and formula feed when you are at work. Just some thoughts, your comment struck me as unusual when you said you were breastfeeding.

    Well, stocking up meant that I bought 4 tubs lol I’m a full time student right now so I get breaks to pump while I’m at school. In January I start a 40 hrs/week rotation at a rehab hospital and they can’t give me pump breaks. So on my 2 week Christmas break I have to wean her from nursing.. She’ll get half formula- half breastmilk for a while until my freezer supply is depleted :)
