Every parent knows that despite how much we try to keep our kids from getting sick, unfortunately, they always do at some point. So, I like to be prepared by having a few different remedies available ahead of time. One product that I imagealways try to have on hand is an infant fever reducer.

PediaCare makes an Infant Fever Reducer that helps to relieve fever or minor aches and pains. It is also in a dropper form for easy administration to infants, plus it comes in several flavors to help the medicine go down.

Another product that I like to keep on hand is the PediaCare Gentle Vapors Plug-In , which releases aromatic vapors that lasts up to 8 hours to help your child breathe easier at night. This mini waterless vaporizer is perfect to use when baby is congested, plus it has a nightlight that goes on when the lights go out.

Plus, to help parents make a decision on what what best over-the-counter medicine is right for their child, PediCare has launched a FREE iPhone app. Of course this app is for informational purposes only, and parents should always refer to their doctor for medical advice.

WIN IT!

Thanks to PediaCare, 5 lucky winners will win a PediaCare Gift Pack with both the Fever Reducer and the Gentle Vapors Plug-In.

Usually cuddling on the couch with mommy helps!

Soothing a sick or uncomfortable baby is heart wrenching especially when nothing you do helps. Lots of cuddling, snuggling, and EXTRA EXTRA love is significant! My daughter is a HUGE cuddle-bear. When she is sick she likes to be held, rocked, and loved on as much as possible and EVEN MORE than when she is not. This is A LOT! It is ALL WORTH IT! Lots of fluids, really warm baths steaming up the bathroom releasing built up congestion and mucus, home-made saline drops, and a cool mist humidifier are MUSTS!
