I wash all my curtains and hang them to dry that way while I am cleaning the house has a nice fresh smell while I am cleaning and they air dry making less use of the dryer at the same time!

My favorite spring cleaning is to start in the closets and weed out clothes that no longer fit. We also put away the bulky winter clothing that we barely wear here in Arizona and pack the winter items under the bed. My 3 year old says its “our fashion show” when we try everything on :)

I have a cleaning basket that I carry from room-to-room. It contains everything that I need to clean the room from top to bottom. I take one room at a time and move to the next room only when I am completely finished with the one I am working on.

All year: Boil a cup of water in the microwave and leave it for a few minutes then remove cup and wipe all surfaces inside the microwave – like steam cleaning.
