Looking to save your budget this holiday season. My 3rd Tip for Saving on Christmas is to Save on Christmas Cards. Although I love sending Christmas cards, I know that sometimes it isn’t quite in the budget to send out 50+ cards with the cost of shipping.
If you are trying to figure how how to let all your friends and family know how much you care for them this year, but are not sure if you can afford all those cards, you can save on sending the cards and look at a few other options:
- Send postcards. Although stamps to send letters cost $.44 right now, did you know that postcard stamps only cost $.28? Save money on postage by sending postcards instead of cards this holiday season.
- Send a FREE eCard – there are plenty of online sites that offer eCard services, and if you family and friends are on email, why not save by sending them a card to their inbox, instead of the mailbox.
- Make a phone call. Take a few minutes this holiday season to call your loved ones that you haven’t spoken with in a while. Hearing your voice, and how you have been will be even more special than a card in the mail.
So, do you send Christmas cards each year?
