We are discussing what is better, to take your kids shopping with you to teach them your frugal ways, or to leave them behind so you can focus on your list (and saving $) in the Frugal Living Community. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Come on over and tell us…

I’m not a member of BlogFrog so I thought I’d comment here. Just this week my facebook status was “ready to swear off ever going shopping with two kids again!” It’s exhausting, I feel like it’s driving everyone else in the store nuts, and I don’t enjoy that time with my kids. I do enjoy taking just one of them because when I have just one they sit patiently and we both enjoy that one-on-one time.

I generally leave my son at home with my husband or my mom (of course I bring my mom special treats to thank her) when I am grocery shopping. Either that or I pop him in the cart, though it’s not actually allowed, according to the pictures! He’s 7 but if I let him loose he’s always knocking things over or running around :)
