I am always looking for family activities for the summer since it is so hot here in Arizona. Realistically, you can’t be outside for long (unless you are in water) in 100 degree weather, so finding fun indoor activities for the family is a must.
That is why I was really excited to hear that Sea Life Arizona was being built in time for this summer. Some of you may remember that I was invited to attend the Press Conference and Ceremony for Sea Life Arizona, and although I was excited then, it was amazing to actually see the completed project.
My family was able to attend the Aquarium last weekend before the Grand Opening- and here is a video of some of our experiences (if you can’t see the video, you can also watch it HERE).
So, the funniest part was definitely the fact that my 4 year old would NOT cross through the glass tunnel. My hubby had to carry him through because he was sure he would fall in.
Overall, Sea Life Arizona is a lot of fun- like other attractions, but it is also educational. If you live in Arizona, it may be cheaper to buy a membership (if you plan to go more than twice in a year). The good news is they are offering a $5 discount on tickets this weekend for the Grand Opening, so now is a good time to check out the Aquarium.
