Starting Memorial Day, 5/31/10, more than 600 museums in all 50 states are offering FREE Admission to Active Duty Military Personnel and their families to show their appreciate of those that are serving the nation.
FREE Admission is open through Labor Day, 9/6/10, so this is a great summer FREEBIE! Here are some of the basics of this offer:
- If you are active duty military personnel and/or an immediate family members – spouse or child – to gain free access, please show either a Geneva Conventions CAC ID or a DD Form 1173 ID card at the museum admissions desk.
- Immediate family members under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an appropriate ID holder
