When he was just 2 weeks old, he got a really bad rash that perscription ointment wouldn't clear up. My pediatrician recommended Boudreaux's Butt Paste. Let me tell you, we put that stuff on and within 12 hours the rash was completly gone! I had never heard about butt paste before, but man, I am a believer now! I can't keep enough butt paste in my house now! Like I said, we use it all the time! We prevent diapers rash on my Lil guy by using butt paste ALL THE TIME! Then i would do a layering process with a couple products to form a barrier against moisture and promote quicker healing: *Apply a thin layer of Neosporin pain relief cream, externally over the really red/irritated areas and to help it stay put i cover it with a moderate layer of natural baby powder, then top it all off with the fabulous Boudreaux’s butt paste and put on a fresh diaper. In addition to using a soothing cream, (RX by the dr.) I've told my son and his girlfriend that poor baby needs to be changed more often!
