Also, the one per transaction here is really saying one coupon for one item in one transaction. Meaning that if you have 1 coupon, it cannot apply to all 3 items in your transaction. You would need 3 items for 3 coupons. Does that help?

Hi Janice,

Sorry for the delay! (Thanks to those who answered!) Actually, you can print multiples (usually 2 from each computer), but sometimes more of internet coupons. I believe Fry’s policy is to double up 3 of the same coupon, after that, they won’t double anymore. So, what I do if I have multiples is to just make it another transaction. Hope that helps.

Cashiers don’t always know all the policies, so don’t hesitate to talk to customer service, too. They are very friendly (in my experience).

Thank you for the replies. I’m such a rule-follower, I just want it to be black and white, but I can see it’s not. I’ll talk to customer service at my Fry’s and at least get their take on it. That way I will be able to be assertive.

I think it may vary by location and perhaps cashier then. The cashier that I had today, let me use 4 of the Kraft coupons for the cheese in the Mega Sale. And this was actually after she had asked her manager about a previous sale where the coupon itself had said ‘only one per transaction’ – the manager told her in that case they can take 3 of those coupons. I told them that if that was the case, please put 2 of the Kraft cheeses back, and I’d keep my coupon for a later time. The manager reassured me that they weren’t talking about my transaction, and said that I was fine using all of my coupons.

The policy I was quoted was that you could have three of each coupon per transaction. It seems fair to point out that most printable coupons limit you to two prints each, though a very few offer one, or three or more, and to request a manager, if needed. Fry’s has been trying to push their coupon-friendliness lately, so I wouldn’t be embarrassed about making this request, though I know that’s easier said than done.

Can you tell me what Fry’s (and other stores like Walmart) policy is on internet coupons as far as how many of the same type you can use per transaction? I’m a beginner and I had 4 Smart Balance coupons and was purchasing 4 Smart Balance products. The cashier first said they didn’t accept photocopies. I told her they were printed, not copies. She said since you can only print one internet coupon, she could only take one of the same internet coupons. She went ahead and ran my purchases through but muttered that she would “get a memo.” Ever since, because I don’t like being embarrassed at the checkout stand, I only use one type of internet coupon at each store. It’s cumbersome. I have 5 or 6 Kraft cheese coupons, but have to go back every day to use them. Thanks for any advice you can give on this.
