Do you use a water filtration system? Not only can it be healthy for you by reducing contaminants, but it is also economical. By switching from bottled water to filtered water and a reusable bottle, the average person could save $600 a year! The PUR water filtration system is one way to cut your cost of plastic bottled water.

Right now PUR Walter Filtration and the Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program are committed to providing clean drinking water to those in need. For every PUR system that is purchased, 1 week of clean drinking water is provided to a child in a developing country. They are also partnering with Summit on the Summit, a celebrity climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

In celebration of this event, PUR has graciously offered to give one of my readers a PUR Pitcher so that he or she can start experiencing the benefits of filtered water!

To WIN:

FIRST: Leave me a comment letting me know how the PUR water pitcher will help you and your family.

I have one at home and love it. I would like to get this one and use it at work. No one drinks water in my office because there is only the water fountain that tastes bad.

We would love to try the PURE Filter water pitcher. Our fridge’s water taste ok but not great. We end up drinking lots of other beverages like soda, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Hopefully, with better tasting water, we will drink more water. Thanks!

I have never used a water filtration system before. Our tap water doen’t taste very good, and bottled water adds up. We end up not drinking as much water as we should.

I already stopped buying bottled water to cut back on spending, but my tap water is awful. I put it in the fridge to help the taste, but c’mon, unfiltered Phoenix water is putrid. A PUR filtration pitcher would be a lovely belated x-mas present to my taste buds.

We have saved empty milk jugs and every weekend I take them home and fill them up for him so he can use the water to make coffee and for drinking. I would love to not have to haul water jugs to his house anymore.

This would help my family financially by saving from using bottled water. It would also hopefully promote everyone to drink more water.

I want to stop buying water bottles and the pitcher would make it easy to fill up a mug and take it instead!

The PUR pitcher would help our family drink more water and use less plastic bottles!

I would love to try a PUR water filter! I am currently a college student and trying to save as much money as I can and a water filter would be an awesome thing to have!

We have hard water that is heavily chlorinated. This will help us reduce – or eliminate! – the use of bottled water. I would be so excited to be able to get rid of using bottled water!

The PUR water pitcher will help me and our family because I have been arguing with my hubby to stop buying bottled water! This way I can filter water and pour it in his stainless steel water bottle I just bought him for xmas.

This would be great….we just drink water from the tap, so I’m sure the filter would be so much healthier!!
Thanks!

We so need a new Pur pitcher! Ours has a crack but we’re still using it since the water here tastes yucky (the Pur pitcher totally helps the taste of the water too).

I’ve never used one of these but I love the idea of it helping our budget by ditching the bottled water which in turn would help the recycling. :)

I would LOVE to win this. We had a refrigerator with filtered water in the door, however we just moved to a new house and the refrigerator here does not have that feature. I would love to keep cold, filtered water in the fridge for my family, so as to avoid the expense and environmental impact of bottled water.

We’re on city water and I can’t stand the taste of it, but these are expensive and I haven’t been able to afford one. I’d probably send this one to work with my hubby, and then get one for me so we both could have good, “clean” water to drink all day both at work and home.

Having a PUR pitcher would help me save money because if I had the pitcher I’d be more likely to choose to drink my tap water if it was filtered instead of bottled water.

I still really want to win this, so when I get my own place, I can take it with me, as I can’t stand regular tap water & refuse to drink it:(

The Pur Water Filter would save me money for sure. We go through a lot of bottled water around here. I have the reusable bottles, but I refuse to drink water straight from the tap.
