Not only is every coupon worth $1 at Safeway right now and prices are slashed on many every day items (in AZ and NM), but they also have the Home for the Holiday Promotion, which can really save you! This promotion runs through 11/29, so you’ll have time to get coupons together and get some good deals.
The Home for the Holidays promotion is similar to ones they have run in the past:
- Your total of $25 or more is before manufacturer coupons. Maximize your savings by buying items that have coupon match-ups.
- There are hundreds of participating products (check the Master List of Products)
- Check store shelves for tags that indicate if a product is part of the promotion. You may see tags similar to the one above, but many products will just say Home for the Holiday participating product on the price tag (look at the bottom of the tag)
- When you purchase $25 or more of participating products, you’ll receive a Catalina coupon (Prints with your receipt) for $5 off your next transaction.
- If your catalina doesn’t print, you can go to customer service and show them your $25 purchases. I have found that Safeway’s customer service is very friendly and willing to work with you.
