Don’t forget to hit the post-Halloween sales to save on next year’s Halloween. Some stores will start discounts today (and others will continue to lower prices throughout the week). Stores that you’ll want to watch for post Halloween sales include:
Target
Walgreens
Walmart
CVS
I was able to find both of my boys Halloween costumes this year at the clearance section at Target last year. Everything was 90% off, so I bought a brand new Star Wars costume for only $2.49 (normally $24.99!). Of course, you’ll have to estimate what size your kids will be, but if you buy it a bit big, you can always take it in.
Don’t forget that you can grab deeply discounted products besides just costumes: Napkins, Tablecloths, Plates, Utensils, Tupperware, Towels, Cups, etc can all be part of the post-Halloween sale. I also grabbed plates, napkins, and kitchen towels that were part of their Halloween sales last year that were generic enough to be part of Thanksgiving.
I plan to hit a few stores today to see what I find and I’ll post any great deals I come across. Just remember, that the clearance sales will vary from region to region (and store to store) so if you have multiple stores near you and one doesn’t have an item you are looking for, you may want to check another store.
Happy Shopping and I’d love to hear what deals you come across!

And don’t miss all the fun Summer FREEBIES & Discounts available for your kids!
