Double Your CVS Extra Bucks!

I found a great certificate at CVS (right by the cash register). Sorry this picture isn’t any better- but look for these certificates that say “2X Double your extra bucks!” You can use them between now and 12/15/09 and you’ll earn twice as many Extra Bucks! According to the certificate:

“Just present this certificate once at the register between November 1 and December 15, 2009, and your double Extra Bucks will be added to each of your receipt totals. They’ll be available for you to redeem on your first visit in January”

Note: A reader just let me know that she used this and it is doubling your ECB that you get back (4% instead of 2%). Has anyone else tried this? I haven’t  yet, but am very curious to find out!

I just went last night and used one, but it is only doubling the Extra Care Bucks rewards that you get each quareter. Normally you get 2% back of what you spend, but this will double it to 4%. It DOESN’T actually double your ECB’s.

This only doubles your Extra Care Bucks Rewards that you earn each quareter. So instead of the normal 2% that you get back you will now get 4% back. It doesn’t double your actual ECB’s that you earn with each in store purchase.

Hmm, thanks for the feedback! I haven’t tried the deal yet- guess it is a bit misleading…

i got mislead too. I actually when all this time thinking I was going to get about $20 back in the first week of january and only got $2.50. I was sooo dissapointed. I guess I must not have read the fine print. :(
