Helping others has always been important to me, so I was extremely excited when I was picked by ConAgra Foods to support a local Food Bank in Phoenix. Thanks to ConAgra’s generous offer, St. Mary’s Food Bank received $500!
St.Mary’s explained that $1 equals 7 meals, so the donation of $500 is equivalent to 3500 meals for hungry people in Phoenix! Donations are always welcomed, but since the need for donated food has increased by 70% in this economy, this act of kindness is even more appreciated.
