Constantly moving, working, and taking care of others: When was the last time you pampered yourself?
I don’t usually spend much money or time on pampering myself, since I am constantly taking care of others in my life (hubby and my two young boys). However, as my 30th birthday is approaching (yes, I’m leaving the 20s!), I felt that it was time to take a break from the normal routine and spend a little bit of quality time on myself. I scheduled a manicure, facial and new hairdo. When all was done, I felt renewed and refreshed, almost like a new woman.
Part of the fun was going to one location, and making it a “pamper me” day. I went to Luminoso Studios in Scottsdale and immediately felt relaxed in the spa atmosphere. And I think I have the best haircut in years, but I was blown away by the luxurious facial.
The facial was a relaxing experience consisting of cleansing, deep cleaning, massage and oxygenation of my face; all while relaxing in a quiet room with peaceful music. All of the products used in the facial treatment were custom blended for my skin type and skincare needs, and they contained not only all natural ingredients, which I love; but the products also contained vitamins and nutrients and essential oils to renew my skin. I was totally impressed with how the products and process felt. I honestly did not know that my skin could feel and look so fresh and healthy. I had to buy a skin wash and moisturizer from the spa, because I loved how my skin felt, and wanted to keep up the investment I made in myself with some daily maintenance.
