Is the Pictureka! coupon still there? I can’t find it – maybe it just isn’t available in my area?! Sad. I also don’t see the Dreyer’s Ice Cream coupon. Maybe I’m missing something. Thanks.

You’re right- it looks like they are gone now. Sorry about that! I just picked up the Pictureka card games yesterday (my coupon was about to expire).

I stopped by Target yesterday and tried to use a coupon printed from my computer, but it wouldn’t scan (the girl only tried three times). I was then told by both the cashier and the manager that it is their policy to not take any coupons that won’t scan (I have an excellent printer and always print on the highest quality – the paper was in perfect condition). Walmart always takes my coupons – even if they have to enter the numbers manually, or override and enter the amount from the coupon without scanning the actual coupon. Is this common? Any tips? Thanks!

Hi Alecia, sorry to hear of your experience! I’ve had a few coupon experiences with Target (and they were with coupon inserts!) so I think it depends on the store and/or manager on duty. I know they can manually enter the numbers, but I guess decided against it.

You can call customer service (actually you can do this from in the store, too with the red phones at the front) and they are usually extremely helpful. I’d still call them and ask about the situation- love to hear what you hear back. Please let us know.

Well, I called Target’s Customer Relations and they documented my complaint. The representative on the phone apologized for my experience and informed me that they should have typed in the coupon numbers manually. She took down all of my information and said she will pass it along to their “superiors”. She also informed me, as Melissa suggested, to call from the store next time this happens and that way they can speak with the staff there immediately. Sadly, I did not remember the manager’s name who told me I could not use the coupon. Hopefully it won’t happen again, but I feel better about using my printed coupons from here on out. Thanks for the advice!
