We LOVE Mexican food, so when I was given a chance to try Taco Del Mar, I was excited. I was surprised that there are hundreds of locations, including one not far from me!
I tried the Mondo Burrito (definitely an item you can split unless you are really hungry!). One of the things that I liked the most was that you can completely customize your meal. You pick the meat, beans, and salsa for your burrito to make it the way you want.
My hubby was happy that the hot was HOT enough for him and I enjoyed the “medium” salsa! Another plus was the salsa bar- hubby can never get enough of that stuff and it was nice to try a variety. My son also devoured his cheese quesadilla since it was plain with no salsa. Definitely a plus for kids!

Not only is the food yummy, but right now (through the month of July) Kid’s Meals are FREE after 5:00pm with the purchase of an adult meal at participating locations! Did you know that Taco Del Mar was listed as one of the top 10 Best Fast-Casual Restaurants in 2009 for having a family friendly atmosphere and healthy kid choices?
