I tried to use a coupon at staples last week. I was told they do not accept manufacturers coupons. I contacted corporate and they told me the same.
I used two internet coupons in one transaction a couple weeks ago at Staples. Perhaps you could try another location.
I believe that the teacher appreciation day varies for each location. Our Staples says that it is August 22nd. It is worth going to. Last year they gave us reusable bags full of goodies including organizers and jump drives.
