I would love to give this gift card to my husband. He loves working around the house and always wants to do more than we have the time or money to accomplish. We just finished stripping paneling out of the basement, drywalling it, replacing carpet, and now need to rework the lighting. We’d love to put new flooring in the kitchen and bathroom too – the old flooring won’t ever really come clean and with a toddler – clean floors are becoming more and more important! The list of projects is endless!

I just told my sister-in-law (hubby’s sister) about this promotion and with my friend Tami.

I know my husband would love to finish up some of those little projects around the house (repairing baseboards, fixing our threshold, etc) and a gift card would make the whole thing a lot easier!

Ooh. my husband could so use that card. He wants to make a sandbox for the kids.

My husband would use the $100 to buy floor tile for our guest bathroom.

My Husband, Daddy to 1 year old twins, could use it to get a new timmer/edger for our backyard. We have lots of grass but our old one broke and would cost just as much to repair it as to buy a new one. He would love to take his kids outside to play in a nice manicured backyard!

My hubby would FINALLY be able to get my washer and drying out of the bathroom and into the laundry room! This would be an AMAZING thing for us!

My husband is itching for an edger so his yard can be as nice as all the neighbors! : )

I am not sure what Dh would use the gift card to purchase as he always has so many different projects that he is working on! My husband only thinks of others. He is so busy trying to provide for our family, yet he still finds time to always help others. I know there are tons of things he would love to add to his small collection of tools that he has. However, in staying true to his character I believe that my husband would buy materials to build a cover to shade our A/C unit from the heat of the Arizona sun(this is supposed to make your electric bill go down by as much as 5-10%). He is a teacher and currently is teaching summer school, coaching our kiddos basketball teams, and coaching a high school team. Did I mention he is finishing his course hours for his Ph.D.? I know this project has been on his mind but we made the choice to have me at home with our boys. So, like many of you projects like this get put on the back burner because you always have to prioritize. I appreciate you giving us all this opportunity.

My son recently bought his first home- a fixer upper and needs to rewire the whole upstairs, so I’d give it to him. (And I’ll feel better when the wiring is complete!)

I would give it to my husband so that he can fix up the backyard for our one year old little boy!!! My husband deserves this card because he is such a hard worker. He has 2 jobs so I can stay at home with our two little boys and raise them. He had to be out of town with the army reserve for 2 weeks and that is when I had our second son. He came home a few days after that and instead of being sad he missed it he put on a happy face and told me he was just glad the baby was okay and I was okay it made me feel so much better. So he is my strength and support. THanks

My grandpa is a wood carver, and he would use the gift card to buy wood and tools! He would love it!!

My daddy would buy wood and such. He loves to build things. Perhaps the birds would get a new feeder!

My hubby would buy a new drill. He just built a shed out back and broke his old one :(

My 81 year old father could really use this Home Depot gift card. He is the most caring man in the world. He takes care of my terminally ill mother 24/7 rather than have her put into a nursing home. She can not walk so he has to carry her to the car so that she can go to dr. visits. The Home Depot card would allow him to buy supplies necessary to build a ramp so a wheel chair get in and out of their home as they have steps up to their porch. My husband would love TOOLS…he would probably apply it to either a table saw or a tile cutter. We are remodeling our home–do-it-yourself-style. He has rented some nice tile cutters from Home Depot to do our bathroom floor, bath, and walls.

My dad would like BBQ/deck stuff. He isn’t a do-it-yourselfer anymore… he is in his late 80′s and just likes to relax and BBQ.

My dear husband would use every penny of the Home Depot gift card to continue fixing up our house. We made a leap of faith April 17 and moved to a new home which needed repairs. He’s working every day 7-6 and then working all evening on the house and all weekend still. We’ve been to the Home Depot at least once a week since moving here. It’d be nice to get something through a gift card and not a debit card : )

My husband would think he died and went to heaven if he gets the Home Depot gift card. :-) He’s been wanting to do repairs around the house, build some bookshelves for our daughter, and replace some of dying light fixtures!

My husband would probably use the gift card to purchase garage shelving, or things like fertilizer and such for our yard.

The father of 2 teenage girls (whom he treats as if they were royalty) definitely keeps him on the go and financially strapped. My husband desperately needs to get some projects done around the house. There are many! His biggest priority now is building a shed, so $100 would come in handy!

For the Home Depot I would give it to my husband! He enjoys fixing things for us and others that need help. I know that he could find something he needed like a tool or more yard tools. With the things he needs he could do more for others!

Wow! $100 for me to spend at Home Depot! Guaranteed to send my husband fishing. He’s not that motivated with around the home projects. So he just dissapears. I do the work, he can go fishing as his fathers day gift.

If I gave my dad this $100 he would give it right back to me as I just bought a new home. That’s why he is such a great dad!

My husband is a Home Depot guru. :) We are slowly, slowly working at remodeling the house we bought soon after we were married 2 1/2 years ago so that it is truly livable. The catch is he needs to buy different tools and obviously supplies and so it gets worked on as we have the money. He would be thrilled to have $100 for his favorite store and would be able to purchase numerous tools that he needs to finish some jobs here.

So here is my story….

My husband Tom is the best Dad any kids could ask for, and a wonderful husband to boot.. We have three boys, the oldest being 15, who my husband took under his wing, after I was a single mom raising a son alone. Tom came into my life when my oldest son, Nolan was 8. As time went on we decided to have more children. After some years of baby losses, we were then blessed with twin boys, Caleb and Levi who are turning 3 in a week!

Tom is the most dedicated father I have ever seen. He spends as much time as possible with his three boys. The highlight of their day is going down to our creek and throwing sticks and rocks! He will always take time out for his kids whenever he can. He will drop everything to do what is needed for me or the kids. What more could we ask for? I could go on and on…

Tom is self employed with his own electrical company. Business is a bit slow right now, so the 100.00 Home Depot card could come in very handy. See, we live in a 100 year old farmhouse which we are remodeling and fixing up into a cottage style home. It is a challenging and fun project. I can’t even tell you exactly what Tom would buy with his 100.00, but I have a feeling it would be that new nailing tool that he has been wishing for and hinting about! shhh… don’t tell, because if we don’t win the 100.00 gift card I will try to buy it for him.

No matter what happens it will be an awesome Father’s Day, spent with our family, and honoring our special Dad. God has blessed our family in more ways than we can count!

My husband has been looking at building desks for he and I in our old guest bedroom. He works out of the house and right now is using “Franken-desk” (his old desk with random pieces attached to it to make it stay up.)

The desks he wants to build will be built out of unfinished cabinets and large pieces of kitchen countertop. Once the cabinets are painted and the countertops assembled on top it will make for a great workspace that is much cheaper than two new desks. (Have you priced desks lately???? They are super pricey!!!!)

This card would let us do our project.
