One way to save is to send FREE eCards since you don’t have to buy the card or postage. I just found this site, Got FREE Cards, that has FREE eCards and FREE Printable Cards. There is a variety of cards to choose from including Birthday, Love, Get Well, Miss You, etc, so you’ll probably find what you are looking for.

Here’s an example of one of the FREE Birthday eCards available:

If you have not used eCards before, it is a fun way to send someone a card immediately since they receive it through their email. I used to send eCards all the time when I was in college since it was an easy way to send a card and save on postage.  Unfortunately, many of the sites that I used in the past are no longer free to use since there is a membership associated with them, so I definitely appreciate finding this free site, which has no membership dues or downloads required.

My favorite option on the site is the FREE Printable Cards, that you can personalize yourself and even add a photo. There are many different categories available here, too, including Birthday, Sorry, Get Well, and many Holidays.

Here’s an example of the card that I was letting my son work on. I was able to pick a card I liked, and add any text that I wanted. (You can see some of the options on the right). The inside also has options for adding photos and texts, so you can truly personalize the cards. Plus, since it is printable, I let my 3 year old draw his own personal picture on the inside once I printed it.

Next time you are looking to send a card, check out Got FREE Cards to help you save!

    Hello,

I saw the site about ecards and since I am a big fan I wanted to write a quick message. I love sending ecards to friends in particular on their birthdays. happy birthday greeting cards always seem to surprise them and put a smile on their face which is great. A good thing is that if you choose a free site you are saving the pennies.
