Easter Egg Hunts can be an easy and inexpensive family activity. We’ve done hunts with our son in past years (eggs filled with stickers or little toys) but I just found a new Easter tradition that I would like to start with my kids: Resurrection Eggs. You can buy these at Target, Walmart, or Amazon for around $10, however, if you want to make them yourself, check out Thrifty Living Mom and Women Living Well (she also has a great recipe for Easter Story Cookies!)

  • Your Frugal Friend, Niki

We always go to at least 1 or 2 egg hunts held in the community and the bunny prepares one for us while we are sleeping easter morning.

I am always thankful for all that the community provides for us throughout the year…free of charge!

  • Sarah`

We just got home from a hunt this morning. The girls have so much fun (for free!). We have the resurection eggs (and jelly bean colors poem) that help tie commercial Easter to the real Easter. Thanks for linking to Kid Friendly Friday!
