wondered if you tried this transaction. My WAGS won’t accept a BOGO and another manu q per item. wondered if this really worked for you or for others. it would never work here in So. Cal. for me.

  • The Sensible Momma

Yes, I did do this last night…WAGS should accept it since they take 1 manufacturer coupon and 1 WAGS coupon per item…the B1G1 is for one of the Glades and the other -$4/1 is for the other one. I’ve actually done deals like this quite a bit.

I have noticed though that if WAGS if advertising a B1G1, I can only use 1 manufacturer coupon, but I’ve heard other people can still use 2. I guess it really depends on the manager at your WAGS.

If they didn’t take it (the deal above), I’d probably shop at another one.

Just an added thought, even if your WAGS doesn’t accept the above scenario, if you just buy 3 packs of Huggies – 3 $5/1 coupons, you pay $15, but get $10 RR, so that is $5 for 3 packs of Huggies! Still a great deal!

I wonder if it is good for the pull ups?

  • The Sensible Momma

I’m not sure on the pull-ups…the huggies coupons are for gentle care and natural fit…my guess would be no…

To be honest, the $4 Q says to not combine it with any other manufacturer’s coupon, so if you do this you aren’t using the coupons ethically in my opinion. Walgreens should actually decline them because they may not get reimbursed for them. However you can still get them for free using either the BOGO and 2 of the ESCs or the $4 manf coupon and the ESC for each one. Free is great!

  • The Sensible Momma

    Hi KristinBrianna,
Great question! Actually, you aren't combining manufacturer coupons if you buy 2:
1 sense & spray use the -$4/1 coupon
    1 sense & spray use the B1G1
WAGS will be reimbursed for both from the manufacturer.
The EasySaver coupons are from WAGS, so they are completely separate from the manufacturer coupons and per the WAGS coupon policy, can be combined.

I am commenting about the post that Shumway FAM made regarding WAGS not taking the B1G1. Not sure if you did, but did you purchase anything other than the sense and spray. If not, you would have had an overage and the B1G1 would not have worked.

When WAGS scans the b1g1, they also have to enter in manually how much to take off and if it higher than the balance, they may will not do it.

Another thought would be to make sure that you give your B1G1 to the cashier first and then the other coupons. Some places, I have had to give the coupons in order for them to use to get the deals.

Just some ideas. I have not had any of these issues at any of the WAGS that I have gone too.

Went to 2 different Wags here in Phoenix and they both would not accept printable coupons so I could not purchase the diaper deal but would still love to, do you know or can you recommend how to find one that does?
